The successful candidate will be part of DBA team that manages Oracle databases that host data and its structures for crucial applications. The DBA will be responsible for databases to be tuned to perform and be available for development team/QA and production users. Must be a fast learner and have experience working in Agile environment.
 
Required skills and experience:
 
• Minimum 4 years of Oracle Database Administration experience
• 3+ years of experience in data modeling, PL/SQL coding, SQL tuning and PL/SQL debugging/tuning
• Usage and deployment of Oracle technologies (RAC, ASM, OEM/grid, RMAN, Partitioning, Data Guard, etc.) in production environment
• Action in large OLTP databases
• Experience performing the following Database activities efficiently:
o Practical application and expertise of Backup and Recovery concepts
o Systematic resolution of Database problems using AWR, Oracle Performance views and Oracle Internals
o Experience with Oracle Support Services to resolve issues and familiar with Oracle's escalation procedures to use as needed
o On call support maintenance for production databases
 
Desired skills and experience:
 
• Oracle E-Business suite experience
• Oracle certifications
• Storage experience
• White paper presentations on Database topics at any major conference is a plus
