motivated professional for the following position: Staff
Accountant. SUMMARY The Staff Accountant position will provide
accounting, financial reporting, and control functions of Helen
Ross McNabb Center and Helen Ross McNabb Foundation. Cross-train
across financial services to provide assistance when necessary.
Helen Ross McNabb Center Specific Duties 1. Review and analyze
expenses for all cost centers quarterly. 2. Monitor insurance
claims and work closely with insurance agencies to provide
necessary support, prepare necessary documentation for annual
renewal, and properly account for insurance premiums and payments.
3. Provide audit support by pulling necessary documents and other
projects as requested 4. Cross train and provide back up for fixed
assets, depreciation, prepaid amortization, payroll, accounts
payable, and other staff accountant tasks. 5. Organize and maintain
permanent records in accordance with Helen Ross McNabb Center's
document retention policy. Helen Ross McNabb Foundation Specific
Duties 1. Provide fund accounting functions for all segments of
accounting cycle (record revenue, record expenses, reconcile and
adjust bank accounts, reconcile fund accounting, and issue
financial statements). 2. Record investment account changes and
ensure proper distributions of investment income and expenses. 3.
Analyze and research issues including but not limited to revenue
recognition, accurate coding and approval of expenses,
establishment of new funds, and use of restricted assets. 4.
Properly maintain documentation in accordance with the Helen Ross
McNabb Center's document retention policy. 5. Assist in work paper
preparation for annual financial statement audit and provide any
necessary documentation required by external auditors. 6. Provide
assistance and accurate reporting to internal customers.
REQUIREMENTS Education/Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in accounting
or finance. Experience: Minimum three years' work experience in an
accounting role. Physical: There will be long periods of computer
use, close eye work, hearing of normal and soft tones, and lifting
up to 15 lbs. Job duties require frequent sitting, standing,
walking, bending, and reaching. The Helen Ross McNabb Center

behavioral health services. The Center provides quality care and
serves all ages in a continuum of prevention, early intervention,
social, co-occurring, addiction, outpatient, and crisis services.
