Expectations: We're looking for a full-time staff to join our team, which is 35-40 hours a week. We are looking for a person that has an ownership mentality and wants to be a core piece of Abacus Hive as we continue to build the foundation of our firm.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:--- - - - - -Bank, credit card, and subledger reconciliations.--- - - - - -Accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions.--- - - - - -Month-end close functions, including journal entries.--- - - - - -Preparation of monthly financial reports with analysis.--- - - - - -Budget, forecast, and cash flow reports with analysis.--- - - - - -Partnering with some of the best nonprofits/local governments in the area as a trusted accounting advisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:--- - - - - -Bachelors Degree in Accounting--- - - - - -At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience--- - - - - -Full understanding and ability to account for clients reporting on accrual basis--- - - - - -Advanced Excel skills--- - - - - -Ability to self-manage projects to meet deadlines--- - - - - -Comfortable working with multiple cloud-based applications
