This position is responsible for essential functions in the financial statement month-end close process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations integral to financial statement preparation/close
• Review of certain income statement accounts
• Completion of special projects and other tasks as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting
  • CPA desired but not required
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting
  • Excellent computer skills with specific proficiency in spreadsheet application and database management applications, Lawson experience a plus

Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
