Description:Kelsan is currently searching for a Collections Analyst to join our Knoxville team.Kelsan is recognized as a leader in both janitorial and packing supplies distribution. Our footprint stretches throughout the nation, with distributions centers in Nashville, Charlotte, Chattanooga and Knoxville.The Collections Analyst notifies or locates customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment. The Collections Analyst also supports the Credit Manager in issuing credit to new customers.Collections Analyst Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Confers with customer by telephone and email in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer.Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.Orders repossession or service disconnection, or turns over account to attorney.Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account.Grants extensions of credit.Follow the sunset rule for returning calls and emails.Requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
