Intentionally equipped with a robust parts inventory, on-site and in-field customer support and a knowledgeable salesforce, Vermeer Heartland offers decades of experience in sales, parts and service. We are seeking an administrative professional who will continue our unmatched commitment to customer satisfaction in the tree care, landscaping, wood waste and organic recycling, rental, underground construction and surface mining industries.Part-Time (20-30 hours per week)Administrative Assistant: Position supports sales, service, parts areas and provides additional departmental support as needed. Primary responsibilities include a variety of customer service and general office duties.Responsibilities and Duties: Reconciling cash drawer and credit card transactions Process checks for deposit, processing and executing bank deposits Receiving inbound telephone calls and dispersing to the appropriate department Processing incoming/outgoing mail and distributing to appropriate parties Monitoring and responding to emails with appropriate actions Entering all invoices into EBS for Accounts Payables Reconciling and submitting expense reports Filing/Scanning various documents into files Accounts Receivable - Collection calls on accounts over 30 days Generating and distributing routine reports Other duties as assigned in supporting company goalsEssential Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to provide professional assistance when working with customers / employees Knowledge of office management systems. Proficiency in MS Office suite and internet. Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner Effective management of time and resources Ability to prioritize and multi-task Demonstration of attention to detail and accuracy to ensure quality work and productsQualifications: Previous experience with industrial equipment and/or dealership operations preferred Spanish language a plus; but not required 2+ years of technical or business administration and/or equivalent work experienceValid drivers license and pre-employment drug test are required.
