Job Description Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide support services as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a K-12 educational setting, focusing on elementary-aged students. This full-time contract position (January 19May 21, 2026) requires on-site presence in the Chattanooga area, working approximately 3537.5 hours per week across 1 to 3 schools depending on caseload. Responsibilities: - Assist with implementing speech therapy plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). - Conduct therapy sessions, support evaluations, and participate in relevant student meetings. - Collaborate closely with SLPs, educators, and families to support student communication goals. - Maintain accurate documentation and follow district protocols. Qualifications: - Active Tennessee SLPA License. - Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) Certification. - School Services Personnel License with SLPA endorsement. - Experience working in a school setting preferred; candidates with 010 years of school experience considered. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Strong communication and organizational skills.
