Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This full-time position offers an opportunity to
provide specialized education for K-5 students in a K-12 school
setting, focusing on supporting learners with diverse needs
including autism and other special education requirements. Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, particularly focusing
on K-5 elementary caseloads Deliver specialized instruction
tailored to students with autism and other developmental challenges
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to support
student growth and development Monitor student progress and adjust
teaching strategies accordingly Maintain detailed records and
comply with all educational and state regulations Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for a Tennessee Teaching License, with
endorsement in Special Education Experience working with students
with autism and diverse urban backgrounds is highly valued Strong
communication and collaboration skills for effective team
engagement Ability to manage and adapt instruction for individual
student needs within a classroom environment Schedule and Location:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Job located in
Hendersonville, TN Contract position for the current school year
(CSY) with an ASAP start date through the end of the school year
