Job Description:

Mollenhour Gross, LLC ("MG") is actively recruiting a President ("President") to lead its affiliate, RoomOne Solutions, LLC ("ROS").
ROS is a nationwide provider of PTAC (packaged terminal air conditioner) units, accessories, and supporting services to the hospitality, managed care, and residential apartment markets. -Headquartered in Knoxville, TN, ROS is a unique combination of e-commerce retail, enterprise sales, refurbishment production, and field services. -After integrating multiple strategic acquisitions, ROS has quickly established itself as a leading partner to its growing pool of valued customers, ranging from the largest hospitality brands in the world to independent small-business owners.
ROS primarily procures, markets, sells, leases, distributes, and services PTACs, related parts and accessories, energy management systems, and access controls. -The ROS team is headquartered in Knoxville, TN, with additional operations in Griffin, GA and Las Vegas, NV.
Our primary goal with this job posting is to identify, evaluate, and ultimately hire the most senior leader at ROS. -The existing leadership team operates the business very autonomously, has grown the business admirably in the midst of challenging market conditions, and intends to stay on board to continue to drive accelerated growth.
We intend to hire a President who can:

  • Preserve -and improve the existing culture, systems, processes, and growth trajectory of the business;
  • Lead ROS into the future by continuously and significantly growing its performance, culture, services, customers, and sales;
  • Accelerate the pace and quality of decision-making and execution;
  • Coach, develop, incentivize, and lead -the ROS team to extend its value proposition, increase customer and team member satisfaction, and achieve aggressive growth goals.
    The President will be the most senior team member at ROS, will be directly accountable for ROS's performance, and, after the initial learning curve and transition period with the existing team, will have control over ROS, its operations, and its future. -We expect the President to work out of the company's Knoxville headquarters.
    We are seeking a President who wants to take ROS's existing momentum and grow it substantially for a long period of time - not someone with a short-term horizon who is interested in a "turn-around," a "flip," or a "quick payout."

    And any of the following experiences or interests, while not required, would be beneficial:
    • Experience managing a revenue engine that is part B2C e-commerce and part B2B enterprise sales
    • Experience leading a scaling -organization through rapid growth
    • Experience or interest in "value investing" and/or the idea of allocating capital
    • Experience with multi-site logistics operations
    • Experience with technical manufacturing or assembly operations
    • Experience selling to, or operating within, the U.S. hospitality industry
      Regarding compensation, our expectation is to provide a competitive base salary ($250,000+) and a performance-based incentive (likely a tiered profit-share based on a percentage of the trailing twelve months of earnings, calculated on an after-tax basis). -Our goal will be to materially align the President's interests and ownership's interests and to share in the value created.
      We intend to invest considerable additional resources into ROS to help grow its team, resources, locations, expertise, capabilities, and customers. -We believe it can be much larger than its current size (i.e., at least 5 to 10 times larger).
