Description SummaryThe Inhabit Corporate Communications Manager is
responsible for coordinating internal and external communications
efforts in conjunction with senior leadership and marketing. This
role interfaces with the corporate brand as well as our
ever-expanding portfolio of residential and vacation products.The
successful applicant will enjoy thinking through all elements of a
communication plan, including internal and external communications,
as well as interfacing with key stakeholders. They are a "doer" who
enjoys collaborating, detailed planning and proactive communication
but most of all flawlessly delivering brand appropriate experiences
that support the global corporate communications program.The role
reports to the EVP of Marketing and is considered an experienced
role with significant responsibility for pushing projects to
completion and staying on track for key dates.What You'll Do
(Functions & Responsibilities)Oversees and produces, from concept
to completion, a broad array of digital and/or print communication
materials for the organization.Collaborate with senior leaders in
marketing, operations, and product to create integrated
communication plansDevelops presentations and supporting messaging
effortsEnsures that all materials present a clear, unified, and
positive image for the organization and/or brandStrong
understanding of different types of content styles - press release
writing, internal communications and external blog or other
communication formsPlans, prepares, and distributes original
content such as articles, news and press releases, email, blog and
social media postsPromotes and attends special events and
functions; promotes and reports on corporate milestones and
activities such as company goals and projects; new products or
services; community service activities; and new hires, promotions,
and retirements.Arranges for photography and/or press coverage for
special eventsEnjoys pitching and working with journalists,
influencers and other industry leaders to build brand
experiences.Monitors media and social mentionsPerforms other
related duties as assigned. Estimated activity breakdown will be
25% PR; 50% Internal Communications; 20% Other Messaging and
Content Creation; and 5% Event SupportWhat We're Looking For
(Minimum qualifications)Ability to adapt writing styles to match
target author voice and brandExcellent verbal and written
communication skills.Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office
Suite.Experience with various wire services including
PRNewswire.Experience pitching stories to media and fielding media
requests.Deep understanding of AP style.Exemplary communication
skills. This role will require effective collaboration and
coordination across internal and external stakeholders.Capacity to
empathize with the needs and experiences of internal stakeholders
and customers alike.Extremely detail-oriented and organized, and
able to meet deadlines.Ability to travel when needed and comply
with Inhabit IQs travel policy.Ability to lift 15 pounds and
perform light event related support.Positive attitude and
entrepreneurial spirit.Experience in multi-family or vacation
fields preferred but not required.Education RequirementsBachelors
degree in related field required.A minimum 5 years of experience in
marketing, public relations, or communications at a rapidly growing
or publicly listed company preferred.Experience at a rapidly
