Job Description:
As a career sales expert and top-performing individual in the
hotel sales industry, the Senior Sales Manager plays a crucial role
in the Hotel Operations team. They are adept at direct selling and
have a proven track record of success, which demonstrates their
dedication and proficiency. Their primary responsibility is to help
the property achieve its sales and revenue objectives while
establishing a portfolio of new and returning clients. To do so,
they develop strong relationships with the community and on-site,
ensuring a robust brand reputation. The Senior Sales Manager is
also eligible for a quarterly sales bonus.
This is a hybrid position and allows for remote work. Candidates
must live locally as you'll need to be onsite for big events.

Responsibilities:
--- Target accounts, markets, or segments with a heavy emphasis on
proactive solicitation.
--- Identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve
individual and property revenue goals.
--- Focuses efforts on accounts with significant potential sales
revenue.
--- Develops effective sales plans and actions.
--- Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and
weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, etc. and knows how
to sell against them.
--- Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to
maximize revenues and close on business.
--- Handles complex business with significant revenue potential as
well as significant customer expectations.
--- Conducting site inspections.
--- Preparing and presenting effective proposals.
--- Maintain well-organized documentation and reports.
--- Utilize sales, reservations, and revenue management
systems.
--- Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed
established revenue and room night goals.
--- Partner with operations and events departments to ensure full
participation in servicing guests and clients.
Qualifications:
--- A minimum of 5 years of hotel sales or comparable experience.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
--- Organized and detail-orientated.
--- Business-minded.
--- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
--- Effectively manage client relations.
--- Capacity to work independently and as a team.
--- Competitive spirit, passionate, and driven.

rooms, a fine-dining restaurant, and Knoxville's original speakeasy
