The Product Project Manager position is a remote position that will require some office visits to our home office located in Charleston, SC.

The Product Project Manager is an integral team member who partners with Enterprise Project Managers, Client Success Managers and the Healthcare System Project Manager to ensure projects meet the customer objectives, are within scope, are on time and budget, with quality. This position has both implementation and account management responsibilities as they relate to client project goals, with a moderate degree of autonomy. The primary ongoing responsibility is the management and execution of internal and customer projects, focusing on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders, etc. As assigned, the Product Project Manager leads or assists in the planning, implementation and introduction of projects for new systems and technologies. Working directly with the EPM and CSM, the Product Project Manager defines requirements and project goals to ensure reasonable consistency across all supported applications and communicates with and solicits input from user communities and other teams to identify opportunities.

In order to provide the appropriate level of services for Verge Health and our clients, the Product Project Manager must be well-versed in the details of the Converge platform, including common challenges and best practice processes.

* Provide exceptional customer service for internal and external customers


* Motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner

* Keep track of lessons learned

* Mitigate team conflict and enhance communication

Projects /Clients

* Identify opportunities for business process improvements within project scope

* Assess current state workflow and validate proposed future state fits with overall project objectives

* Prepare customer focused training and instructions to ensure successful knowledge transfer

* Take responsibility for problem solving/issue resolution on reported problems/incidents and question

* Perform all assignments within the deadlines set and regularly communicate the status of various projects to other team members

* Facilitate organizational change to improve strategic use and identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change

Verge Knowledge

* Maintain knowledge base of recent and planned product development and communicate such to members regularly

* Develop and maintain a high level of industry and business knowledge

* Identify additional service offerings that Verge can implement to increase optimization and utilization, as well as revenue recognition

* Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output


* Understanding of a service-oriented industry

* Experience in complex projects with healthcare facility or enterprise scope

* Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly

* Excellent customer service skills and dynamic presentation skills

* Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as a team

* Demonstrate resourcefulness in setting priorities and proposing new strategies

* Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented

* Must be willing to travel outside of home base of employment, specifically to the member centers to provide support an average of 20% to include overnight travel


* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Education, Health Care, or related field.

* 2+ years working with software products

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to deliver effective presentations and trainings covering complex information to audiences of all levels

* Ability to assess complex situations, workflows and requirements and facilitate solutions in a collaborative manner

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
