Employment with the health system 100% administrative role Serve as active member of administrative staff and as liaison between the health system and the multiple hospitals medical staffs. 10 years medical staff experience (or relevant experience) in hospital system environment, including experience in physician credentialing processes and committees, and dealing with multiple discipline medical groups. CMO will: Champion the delivery of quality care as a priority of the Medical Staff and Health System Promote clinical excellence, exceptional patient care, compliance with regulatory guidelines Advise administrative team and medical staff in compliance with and preparation for reviews by state and federal governing bodies. Hospital is located in beautiful East Tennessee, near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
