If so, we are currently seeking a qualified and motivatedprofessionalforthe following position:Level II MAT RN CenterPointe.SUMMARYThe Level II MAT RN isresponsible for the assessment and management of withdrawal signs/symptoms ofclients presenting for MAT admission.These include initial medical assessments of clients during intake, andproviding appropriate nursing care for MAT, Medical Detox, Medically MonitoredDetox and Residential Services. Preparesreports, adheres to all compliance, licensure, funder and agencystandards. Provides direct care to clients in theDetox/MAT/Residential setting. Willassist with Crisis Interventions and Medical emergencies, coordinates with allteam members regarding client admissions and discharge planning, and serves asa liaison with other agencies as indicted.RN will effectively interact with patients, significant others and otherhealth team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing.REQUIREMENTSEducation/Knowledge: Must have an RN degree with a currentTennessee license and experience in a behavioral health related field. Must demonstrate a working knowledge ofclinical flow, administration and supervision in a residential setting. Must possess critical decision making andstrong clinical skills. Must be CPR certified or willing to become certified.Class room training in pharmacology, medical terminology, charting and nursingprocesses. Possess a working knowledge of basic nursing techniques. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychiatricmedications, diagnoses, treatment modalities and interventions as well ascompetence in the area of substance abuse, chemical dependency, co-occurringdisorders and recovery. Ability to evaluate the need for emergency transfer tohospital in cases of serious injury or illness.Must be flexible with work scheduling and participate in on-callrotation as scheduled. This is a 4 pm-12 pm shift on weekdays; when scheduled on weekends the shift is 8 am to 8 pm.Experience: Prefer at least 1 year experience workingwith special populations including individuals with substance use/abuse and/oraddiction, severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, anddual diagnosis disorders as well as experience working in a crisissetting. Supervisory experiencepreferred.Applicants should possessthe ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and culturalbackgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respectand dignity. Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessaryin order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies,and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation.Physical: Exposure to biological hazards. Hearing ofnormal and soft tones as well as close eye work. Lifting up to 50 lbs.Pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs. Able to maneuver throughout halls, clients'rooms and surrounding facility in response to emergencies. A significant amount of writing isrequired. Frequent sitting, standing,walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. To ensure the safety of the clientsand staff, this position requires certification in and adequate implementationof verbal and physical de-escalation techniques (Handle with Care) that include a wide range of bodily movementsincluding but not limited to grasping, holding another person, going down onknees, running, and walking.COMPENSATION:Salary range for this position starts at approximately $23.44 per hour depending on relevant experience and education.The Helen Ross McNabbCenter (www.Mcnabbcenter.Org) is a premier not-for-profit provider ofbehavioral health services.
