Parexel currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Biotech Project Leadership group as a Director, Project Leadership (Client Delivery Director). This is a Home-Based position that requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience at the Director level, overseeing both client management and deliverables of clinical trial as well as providing line management and individual team member development. The person selected for this position will be responsible for the success of clinical trials and programs across several accounts. This includes maintaining and developing relationships with assigned customers, providing the leadership as the 'go to person' for issues both internal and external, that may be in need of resolution. In addition to being strong from an operational perspective, this person must also be -Business Minded- providing leadership to help obtain new business and deliverables on time and on budget. Experience working across clinical phases and therapeutics is needed, but knowledge or a focus on Rare Disease and Cell/Gene Therapy would be ideal.QualificationsSuccessful candidates will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in a science or health related field, (advanced degree preferred); minimum of 10 -15 years clinical research experience preferred with at least 10 years Project Management experience of domestic and international studies across all phases. Candidates should have a proven record of team building and leadership skills, strong client interaction, conflict resolution and risk management, plus a strong financial knowledge. This position will also require maintaining client relationships, winning new business and participating in the proposal and bid defense process. Prior CRO experience is preferred.
