Urgent Care opening in Alcoa, Tennessee. Make a difference through TeamHealth's opening for a part-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our established and reputable practice setting at ParkMed Urgent Care located in Alcoa, minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee. This practice has been providing primary care, urgent care, and occupational medicine services in the area for over 30 years. Work collaboratively with experienced clinicians and support staff in a well-equipped facility with in-house x-ray and lab services. The ideal candidate is comfortable caring for patients ages two (2) to geriatrics and is skilled in suturing, splinting, wound care, minor orthopedics, and interpreting x-rays. Applicants must have an active Tennessee license, Tennessee DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS and DOT certifications. Due to the high degree of autonomy of the position, we are only considering candidates who offer advanced practice clinician (APC) practice experience in urgent care, primary care and occupational medicine. New graduates or APCs without post-training practice experience in these settings will not be pursued.
