**Pediatric Urgent Care Medical Directorship in Knoxville, Tennessee**
-Full Time & Permanent Position.

-Join the urgent care team as a full-time physician at a reputable and growing pediatric after hours' clinic in the beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee, area. Enjoy a flexible schedule that consists of afternoon and evening hours. You will enjoy getting to work collaboratively with experienced nurse practitioners or physician assistants. In-house lab and x-ray services are available.

-This is an immediate opening, so strong consideration will be given to a candidates already licensed in Tennessee with a current Tennessee DEA. To be considered for this position, you must be proficient in suturing, ordering of proper splints, wound care management, foreign body removal, assessment of minor trauma or orthopedic injuries, and have the ability to read and interpret x-rays.

-The ideal candidate will offer practice experience as an advanced practice clinician in an urgent care or fast-track, advanced practice clinician (APC) practice experience in an outpatient pediatrics setting will also be considered. You must be comfortable caring for newborns to patients 21 years of age and be proficient in reading x-rays, splinting, suturing, minor orthopedics, minor trauma assessment and management, wound care/closures, and incision/drainage of abscesses.
