Oncology Group is seeking a Medical Director to lead its growing team of medical oncologists/hematologists and advanced practice providers. Join the largest providers of cancer care in East Tennessee, with eight locations throughout the region. The group currently is made up of 25 Providers (10 Medical Oncologists/ Hematologists, 3 GYN Oncologists, and 12 Advanced Practice Providers) covering eight locations with over 50,000 patient visits annually. Covenant Health includes nine acute care hospitals, and more than 5,000 cancer cases are diagnosed annually within the health system. The Medical Director will be responsible for the overall clinical oversight for the group and medical oncology program in collaboration with the leadership team. This will include identifying, setting, and measuring group/program goals, ensuring patient safety and quality of care, meeting patient experience targets, management of physicians and advanced practice providers, support for clinical research development, serving as group/program clinical liaison internally and externally, and program development.
