Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year of experience in an ER setting. Description: This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department. The Emergency Department is known for its teamwork and welcoming environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in a Level II trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center. Flexibility to work in all areas of the department is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate a teamwork mentality and the ability to coach and provide feedback in real time. Patient experience is a priority, and staff are expected to follow respectful behaviors and communication protocols. The department serves a diverse community with a wide range of cultural backgrounds. A commitment to providing compassionate care is vital. Procedures are conducted regularly, requiring advanced skills and certifications. Candidates must adhere to the dress code of navy scrubs.
