qualified Oncology RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801! Pay

Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: RN Certifications: None required Description: Unit
information includes a total of 24 beds. There are 42 staff members
on the unit. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 4-6 registered
nurses, 2 certified nursing assistants, and 1 health unit
coordinator. Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 4-6 registered
nurses, and 2 certified nursing assistants. Patient ratios are
typically 1:4 or 1:5. Standard equipment is used on the unit. The
electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. Preferred
qualifications include chemotherapy certification. Occasional
procedures performed on the unit include pelvic exams,
echocardiograms, and thoracentesis. Candidates should be team
players and willing to learn. No weekend or on-call requirements
are expected. Staff are required to work 6 weekend days per
schedule. Basic policies and guidelines of the hospital are
