Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN license
Certifications: - ACLS (before start date) - BLS (before start
date) - PALS (before start date) - TNCC (before start date) - CPI
(before start date) - NIHSS (before start date) - ENPC (within 90
days of hire) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse with at
least 1 year in an emergency room setting - Teamwork mentality -
Ability to coach and give feedback in real time - Flexibility to
work in all areas of the emergency department Description: We are
seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the emergency department.
The emergency department is a high-volume area with a patient visit
rate of over 100,000 annually. Patient ratios are typically 4:1,
and may increase to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Technicians are
available to assist in cardiac monitoring and in the internal
processing area. Unit clerks are present during both day and night
shifts. The unit is equipped with Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
Documentation is completed using a Cerner system. Scheduling
requires availability for every other weekend, with flexibility to
meet department needs. Floating is limited to areas within the
emergency department. Patient experience requirements include
adherence to respectful behavior and effective patient
communication. Emergency department certifications are mandatory
upon hire. The unit emphasizes teamwork and fosters a welcoming
