36 - Patient Ratio: 1:6 - Unit: Medical Telemetry 4 South -
Orientation: 24 hours - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1650-$1770
Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license – Tennessee or compact state - Minimum 1 year of recent
Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience - 1 year of experience with
Epic EMR required - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Experience
with ER holding and telemetry monitoring - Flu vaccine required (no
exemptions) - Ability to float to other medical/surgical units as
needed - Preferred: Community hospital experience Med/Surg Tele RN
Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult
patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial
fibrillation, and post-cardiac procedures - Monitor and manage
cardiac drips (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone), initiate sotalol,
and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias - Perform blood product
administration, central line care, chest tube management, and wound
care - Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient
management - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response - Float to other
qualified med/surg units as needed to support patient care -
Complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start
