Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

Labor & Delivery, LDRP - Start Date: November 3, 2025 - End Date:
February 2, 2026 - Duration: 13-week contract - Shift: Nights,
3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15) - Hours per Week: 36 - On-Call: 2
shifts per 6-week schedule period - Weekend Requirement: Every
other weekend or 2 weekends per month - Orientation: 24 hours -
Patient Ratios: 1:2 (labor), 1:8 (postpartum/couplets) - Estimated
Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020 - Important Compliance Notes: -
Requests for time off during major holidays will not be
accommodated, as per facility policy. - A 75-mile local radius rule
applies. Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility may be
subject to a different pay rate. Registered Nurse Qualifications -
Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (Tennessee nursing
license) - Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery and
Postpartum nursing experience - Previous travel nursing experience
required - Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN
Intermediate, NIHSS - Experience with Cerner charting system
preferred - Ability to float as needed per facility policy - Flu
vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) -
Certifications and licensure must be valid for at least 45 days
after the assignment start date Labor & Delivery RN
Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring
mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns in a Level One Labor &
Delivery unit - Perform high-risk antepartum care, triage
obstetrical patients, and assist with high-risk deliveries -
Circulate and recover C-section patients - Utilize and calibrate
intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC) - Administer medications
including anticoagulants, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and
magnesium sulfate therapy - Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) -
Conduct sterile vaginal exams and adhere to isolation
precautions/PPE protocols - Collaborate with interdisciplinary
healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services,
radiology, and pharmacy - Participate in self-scheduling and comply
with facility policies regarding floating, orientation, and ongoing
