ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Maryville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work in a step-down unit from ICU with no ventilators or pressor support • Manage cardiac drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation • Provide telemetry monitoring and ER holding experience required • Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Float within medical surgical units based on skill set as required • Work with adult patients in a 28-bed unit with daily census of 28 • Care for patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis patients, atrial fibrillation, and post heart catheterization • 24-hour orientation provided with every Monday start dates • Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing • Must have 1 year of recent unit experience and 1 year minimum EPIC EMR experience • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Tennessee active license required • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Weekend coverage required with block scheduling • One pre-approved time off allowed per contract Facility: This healthcare facility operates a progressive care telemetry unit that serves as a step-down from intensive care. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac monitoring and specialized care for patients requiring close observation but not intensive care level support.
