Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Must have 1 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Active Tennessee RN license required • 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required • Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights and weekends • Weekend coverage required • Floating to other units required based on skill set and census concerns • Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical conditions • Handle pre and post-operative patients including post heart catheterization care • Perform bedside procedures including dialysis catheter management, thoracentesis, and incision & drainage • Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams • Manage patients requiring isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management • Must be available to work in 30-bed unit with daily census of approximately 30 patients • Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing • Orientation scheduled every Monday • Two pre-approved time off requests allowed Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical surgical telemetry unit providing care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions.
