Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Maryville,
Tennessee, 37804! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: 2 years minimum in
Labor and Delivery License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - 1 year EPIC experience
- Must have 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Floating to
other units is required - Weekend coverage and call are required -
No first-time travelers Description: Must have BLS, ACLS, NRP, and
AWHONN Intermediate certifications. Active RN license is required.
Floating to other units is necessary but will only occur based on
skill set. Weekend coverage and call will be expected. Candidates
must have 1 year of EPIC experience. Special procedures include
triage assessments, inductions, cesareans, external versions, NSTs,
circumcisions, and newborn resuscitation/stabilization. Magnesium
Sulfate administration is required. Responsibilities include
managing patients during labor and delivery, as well as providing
care for neonates. Experience with various medical conditions such
as diabetes and pre-eclampsia is essential. Candidates should be
proficient in the administration of medications, IV therapy, and
assistive procedures related to labor and delivery. Knowledge in
breastfeeding support and discharge teaching to parents is also
necessary. This position requires the ability to float to
designated areas and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary
team. Attendance and engagement in all mandated training and
