ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Knoxville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • Work in Neuro Critical Care unit with floating to Medical Critical Care as needed • Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1 • 36 guaranteed hours per week • 4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period (night shift being Friday/Saturday) • Must work 2 out of 3 major holiday blocks: Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day • 2 years of experience required • First-time travelers not accepted • Must have Cerner charting system experience - no exceptions • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and Stroke certification • No on-call requirements • Unit-based position with potential floating based on facility needs • Block scheduling accommodations available • Local candidates within 25-mile radius not accepted • Pending license not accepted - license must be in hand • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) • Modules required during orientation (2-4 hours average, non-billable) • RTO requests must be submitted with initial application and kept to minimum Facility: This major academic medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with specialized critical care units including neuro and medical critical care.
