Job Description:
Seeking a Full Spectrum BC/BE Family Medicine/OB Physician to
become Core Faculty of a Family Medicine Residency Program in
southwest Virginia. Position Highlights: Ideal candidate must be
Family Medicine board certified with training in full-scope family
medicine, including OB Fellowship training Physicians must have a
strong commitment to graduate medical education This is a full-time
position with the following required duties: Handling
administrative duties for the GME program, which includes resident
supervision in the clinic and hospital, attendance at meetings,
candidate interviews, curriculum development, and research Direct
patient care and clinical activities working with our residents in
both inpatient and outpatient settings. Call: 1:2 for
practice-based, low-volume OB patients; no overnight call for
hospitalist shifts 1:6 office call (phone call only with residents
