years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center - 1 year of
experience in an emergency room setting - Teamwork mentality -
Ability to coach and give feedback in real time - Flexibility to
work in all areas of the emergency department Description: The
emergency department is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse.
The unit typically has a patient ratio of 4:1, with up to 7:1 on
behavioral holds. Staffing includes available techs who work in
cardiac monitoring and internal processing areas. Documentation is
performed using a specific electronic health record system. Every
other weekend scheduling is required, but block scheduling is not
available. Floating outside of the emergency department is not
allowed, but staff should be open to floating within the
department. Patient experience is prioritized through respectful
behavior and consistent communication. Required certifications must
be obtained before the starting date, with additional
certifications expected within 90 days. Candidates should
demonstrate advanced skills and have experience in a high-volume
