Services Coordinator today! The Blount IST/Co-Occurring Services
Coordinator Duties: - The position requires oversite of Blount
County Services, provided by the McNabb Center. - Responsibilities
include gathering and submitting monthly productivity for all
programs. - Insuring productivity targets are met. - Insuring
programs function efficiently and effectively. - Responsible for
gathering and submitting QAQI data, to include satisfaction
surveys. - Responsible for being responsive to community partners,
to include referrals and formal presentation of Blount County
McNabb programs in the community. - Responsible for development of
new programs. - Responsible for creating a safe and communicative
working environment for staff. - Responsible for working with the
leadership team to support program growth and dedication to the
mission of the Center. - Attend all relevant McNabb Center
meetings. - Encourage and support staff in working towards
professional growth. - Insure appropriate and adequate
documentation of reporting staff. - Insure all identified records
are reviewed and prepared for audits. - Working with medical team
to insure efficiencies in the schedule and coordinating coverage in
lieu of practitioner absences, or increases in medication
referrals. JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY Summary of role of team: - The
Blount County McNabb Center work with community partners to meet
the mental health and co-occurring needs of the community. - The
Blount County Center serve to reach underserved and distressed
communities to improve health outcomes. - All team members work in
collaboration to identify needs of the person served, and
coordinate to promote resiliency. - The Blount County team consists
of Master's Level Clinicians, Case Managers, Care Coordinators,
APN's, RN, Program Assistant, Medical Assistant and Managers.
Summary of position: - The Services Coordinator works with the
management team to ensure that all Blount County programs are of
utmost quality. - This position is responsible for the advancing of
premier mental health and co-occurring services in the community. -
The position is responsible for the supervision, training and
oversite of the Blount County outpatient services; to include
oversite of all Blount County outpatient programs. - Responsible
for the supervision, training and overseeing the daily operations
of the Blount County outpatient staff and programs. - Duties
include oversite of all Blount County outpatient programs to
include Tennessee Health Link, CTT, Firm Foundations/ESG,
outpatient medication and therapy services, and Behavioral Health
Safety Net. - Work with Outpatient Bachelor's Level Program
Coordinator to ensure accuracy of documentation, productivity
standards are met, and clinical supervision of staff is consistent.
- Responsibilities include providing therapy services for coverage
during clinician's absence and with clients in need and being
available for clinical consult. - Provides crisis intervention and
emergency services, as well as utilizes center-wide and community
resources as needed for client benefit. - This position requires
utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
- Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a
condition of employment. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT -
This position spends the majority of their time working in the
Blount County IST Programs. - With program development, attendance
to community and Center run meetings is required. - In person
attendance is preferred. Professional appearance and demeanor are
expected at all times. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES This job

employment. 1. Works in a multi-disciplinary team approach to meet
the needs of customers. - Represents the Center professionally in
dress, presentation and demeanor. - Works with funders and
State/local government to deliver high quality of services. -
Develop professional relationships with those in the community, to
promote continuity of care and further program development. -
Develop new programs for expansion of services in the county and
surrounding areas. - Facilitates supervision on a weekly basis
without tardiness. - Attends and facilitates staff team meeting on
a monthly basis without tardiness. - Responds to all flags, emails,
texts and voicemails within 2-business day. - Handles client
inquiries and addresses issues as appropriate. - Assists with
coordinating flow of intakes and directing MA Level staff.
Completes intakes for clients in crisis - Provides therapy coverage
during clinician's absence and for clients in crisis. - Provides
coverage for CTT clients during Case Manager's absence. 2.
Supervise and manage team to meet program standards. - Supervise
and manage front line staff to ensure standards of quality. -
Perform administrative duties as required by HRMC. - Fill all
vacancies with qualified applicants in a timely manner while
effectively managing staff absences. - Trains staff regarding
program P&P and monthly productivity goals within one week of
completing orientation. - Effectively communicate management
decisions to front line staff. - Ensure all supervision logs are
completed and routed to appropriate administrative staff. - Creates
and implements coverage for all clinic services that affect the
daily flow of the clinic and quality service delivery. -
Facilitates program peer review on a monthly basis. - Completes
QA/QI on a quarterly basis and make recommendations to improve
outcomes. - Completes current annual performance appraisals for
staff under Services Coordinator's supervision. - Organizes and
develops team cohesion during consistent meetings and group
supervisions. - Effectively networks with internal and external
staff members by maintaining positive working relationships. 3.
Lead by example. - Address all disciplinary issues, to include
progressive disciplinary action if needed timely. - Display
superior emotional adjustment and stability as displayed by
non-reactive, non-judgmental attitude to crisis. - Maintain a
healthy work environment by modeling supportiveness, effective
communication, and leadership. - Display ability to implement
change in a reluctant environment as needed. - Demonstrate
effective delegation as needed. - Maintains a healthy work
environment by modeling supportiveness, good communication, and
leadership as measured by staff retention rates and exit
interviews. - Demonstrates consideration and concern for fellow
workers and promotes harmonious relationships and attitudes. 4.
Complete all documentation in compliance with CARF and insurance
standards. - Completes all 6-month updates according to center
standards - Submits all progress notes within 24 hours of treatment
contact. - Completes treatment plan during first month of
treatment. 5. Monitoring of treatment effectiveness and compliance.
- Make certain that all policies are accurate, thoroughly
documented and consistently applied. - Make sound decisions when
faced with multifaceted problems. - Devote appropriate time and
effort to the development of professional competence as evidence by
attending a minimum of 3 professional trainings annually. - Achieve
optimal levels of desired program goals and outcomes as measured by
program productivity standards. - Manages external and internal
referrals. 6. Completion of expected productivity as outlined at
the beginning of each month. - Submits monthly productivity reports
to Senior Director by 5th business day of each month. - Tracks and
monitors the completion of pre-authorizations and concurrent
reviews for clients active in CTT services. - Monitors daily show
rates for prescribers and adjusts the schedule to effectively
increase show rate that increases productivity that enables team to
meet revenue targets - Monitors weekly show rates for therapists
and make adjustments when needed to increase show rate. - Monitor
monthly therapist's caseloads and ensure fund source targets are
met. COMPENSATION: - Starting salary for this position is
approximately $61,429/yr based on relevant experience and
education. Schedule: - Primary working hours are Monday through
Friday, and hours in addition to 40 may be required depending on
the need of the program at that time. - On site supervision is
preferred, and position must be available via phone if a function
of the position requires being out of office. Travel: - This
position may require travel for meetings and trainings outside the
Blount County area. Equipment/Technical Competency: - Position
requires working knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Office,
TNWITS, RedCap and any other platforms required by funders. -
Position requires regular use of a computer, and appropriate phone
etiquette. - Position is required to respond to all voicemails,
emails and messages within 24 hours. Equipment/Technology: -
Position requires a cell phone, in the event staff need to contact
the position when not in the office. - Cell phone reimbursement for
these expenses is considered. - Position is required to drive the
mobile clinic unit in the event coverage is needed. - CDL is NOT
required to drive the mobile clinic unit. QUALIFICATIONS - Blount
IST/Co-Occurring Services Coordinator Experience / Knowledge: -
Must have course work and or experience in the areas of cultural
diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental
illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse,
suicide, and trauma. - Three years of direct experience in a human
services or related field preferred. - Supervisory experience
preferred. - Knowledge of childhood development, family dynamics,
mental illness and psychological traits associated with the target
population of each program. Education / License: - A Master's
degree in human services or related field with course work or
experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development,
etiology and treatment of mental illness, co-occurring disorders,
physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and developmental disabilities.
- Professional license preferred. Physical/Emotional/Social -
Skills/Abilities: - An essential job function is a reliable,
predictable 40 hour per week job, on site and in the community,
with regular attendance. - Exposure to biological hazards. -
Hearing of normal and soft tones. - Close eye work. - Valid
driver's license with F endorsement. - Lifting up to 50 lbs. -
Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs. - Frequent sitting, standing,
walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. - This position requires
utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
- Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a
condition of employment. - This position requires certification in
and adequate implementation of verbal and physical de-escalation
techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including
but not limited to grasping, holding another person, going down on
