Rosedale is seeking a PRN Rad Tech. The Radiologic Technologist I
works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of
diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient
and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic
images in the ambulatory setting. - Performs direct patient care.
Collects data to determine correct procedure /protocol to be
followed. Performs screening processes for medication
reconciliation and allergy confirmation. Reviews orders for clarity
and verifies as needed. Performs and assists the physicians in
performing radiology procedures. - Maintains professional
competencies and complies with needed education requirements as
dictated by their credentialing body. Maintains clinical
competencies based on departmental policies, protocols, and
procedures. Works with radiologist to develop and maintain standard
protocols for routine procedures. - Moves patient from a wheelchair
or a stretcher to the imaging table and positions the patient for
best imaging results. Moving the patient may require using aides
such as lift equipment or a smoothie board. In some cases, a
minimum of two people is required to insure safety of the patient
as well as the employees. Depending on the case load, this may

every time. What We're Looking For: - Education - Graduate of
ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certification required within 6
months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
- 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. - Experience: Minimum of
one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred. -
Licensure/Certification: ARRT, required. - Additional Skills
(required): Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and
accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has
knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to
patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to
identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her
age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of
functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various
types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and
procedures. What You'll Do: - Knowledgeable with electronic
information systems and PACs systems. Interprets and records
patient information as necessary. Utilizes Novant telephone
etiquette and customer service skills. - Safety: Follows
established radiation safety guidelines. Follow established
policies and procedures to prevent spread of infectious disease.
