Registered Nurse (RN) | Direct Observation Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,610 to $1,804 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Travel RN - D2 - PCU - Clinical Decision Unit City/State: Asheville, North Carolina Shift: 18:45-07:15, Nights Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 02/02/2026 Job Description: Registered Nurse needed for D2 Progressive Care Unit, providing care for medical surgical and/or step-down patients including telemetry monitoring. This unit serves as an inpatient overflow with short stay, quick turnover patients. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care with a 1:5 or 1:6 patient-to-nurse ratio depending on the level of care. Perform telemetry monitoring when indicated, ensuring patients are hardwired to bedside monitors. Float to other units if needed. Work every other weekend as required, no on-call duties. Requirements: Telemetry competency. Progressive Care experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
