Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North
Carolina Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Asheville, North
Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling designed to meet
department operational needs; flexibility to work all sections
within the Emergency Department Highlights: High-volume 101-bed
Emergency Department in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive
stroke center (100,000 annual visits) Patient ratios typically 4:1
for medical cases; comprehensive support staff including techs,
unit clerks, and dedicated cardiac monitoring team Cerner EMR
system with modern equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
Regional referral center providing advanced services including
pediatric emergency care, interventional cardiology, and busiest
robotic surgery program in the Carolinas Magnet-designated facility
recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals and awarded
Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade "A" Serve a diverse, multi-cultural
community representing over 120 languages Requirements: Active RN
license Minimum 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in
an Emergency Department setting Experience in high-volume, Level II
trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred Current
certifications required before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC,
CPI, NIHSS ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
Strong teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time
coaching and feedback Flexibility to work in all areas of the
