Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,836 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Opportunity – Geriatric Behavioral Health Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: February 10, 2026 Location: Asheville, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day or night shift assignments available. Weekend rotation required. No on-call responsibilities. Day shift typically includes 2 RNs and 2 behavioral health technicians with sitters as needed. Night shift includes 1 RN and 2 behavioral health technicians with sitters as needed. Highlights: 9-bed geriatric behavioral health unit serving a specialized patient population Patient ratios of 5-9 patients per nurse Cerner EMR system Collaborative team environment with dedicated behavioral health technicians and support staff Float to adult inpatient areas to broaden clinical experience Work with specialized equipment including vital signs machines, Hoyer lifts, glucometers, IV equipment, bladder scanners, and monitoring systems Requirements: Active RN license in North Carolina or eligible for licensure BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Behavioral health and medical nursing experience strongly preferred Demonstrated assessment and critical thinking skills Experience in geriatric patient care preferred De-escalation skills and flexibility highly valued Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact caring for vulnerable geriatric patients in a supportive, team-based behavioral health setting.
