contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist to
provide services within a K-12 school setting in Asheville, NC.
This role will support students from PreK through 12th grade,
offering specialized therapy aligned with educational needs.
Position Details: Duration: January 20, 2026 through May 29, 2026
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Location: Asheville, NC Setting: K12
School environment Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational
therapy evaluations and interventions for PreK-12 students.
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and
implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Monitor student
progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Provide expertise
in sensory processing, fine motor skills, and adaptive techniques
to enhance student participation and learning. Maintain accurate
documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines for
school-based therapy services. Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with an active license to practice.
Experience working in school-based settings preferred. Knowledge of
occupational therapy in healthcare, home health, or teletherapy
environments is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to engage
students, parents, and school personnel. Ability to adapt therapy
techniques to a diverse student population in the educational
