Asheville, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Every other weekend required;
scheduling meets department needs; no block scheduling available
Highlights: 101-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4:1
(medical) and up to 7:1 (behavioral health holds) Level II trauma
center and comprehensive stroke center with high volume exceeding
100,000 annual visits EMR: Cerner; Equipment includes Baxter pumps
and GE monitors Floating limited to within the ED only; flexibility
to work all sections of the department required Supportive
environment with techs, unit clerks, and specialized cardiac
monitoring support Magnet-designated facility recognized for

Requirements: Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state
eligibility) Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1
year in an Emergency Department setting Prior experience in a Level
II trauma center and high-volume ED preferred Current
certifications required before start date: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC,
CPI, NIHSS ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
