/ Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum
of 1 year of EPIC experience License: Current ARRT Certification
Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - 40 hours initial mammography
training - 8 hours digital training - 8 hours tomosynthesis
training - Current CPR - 15 mammography CEUs within the last three
years - Current mammography procedures (200 in the last 2 years)
Description: This position is for a Mammography Technologist in an
outpatient setting. The technologist will perform 3D mammography,
diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening
mammograms. The technologist must have experience with GE
equipment. Fine needle aspiration, needle localizations,
stereotactic biopsies, and Hologic Affirm BX skills are required.
The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Compliance with all
training and certification requirements is mandatory. Travelers
must float to other units as requested based on census needs.
Applicants should possess strong teamwork abilities and be
adaptable to various situations in a clinical setting. The daily
census is approximately 100 visits, and the facility has six rooms
dedicated to this specialty. Interdisciplinary support is available
