Physical Therapist Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,939 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy Certifications: BLS certification Must-Have: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy Acute care experience preferred Experience with a wide variety of acute care procedures, especially orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary is helpful Description: The position involves evaluating patients in an acute care setting. You will develop care plans to treat patients and employ techniques to modify conditions and improve function. The role includes supervising and coordinating therapeutic care. You will communicate evaluation results to patients, families, and appropriate staff. Therapists will pick up assignments in a main office area and provide room-to-room treatment. Patient rooms are all single-occupancy. Documentation is done through an electronic health record system. Equipment available includes patient lifting devices and mobility aids. A collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals is present. Excellent outdoor activities, such as hiking and biking, are available nearby.
