Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Our RNs play a crucial role
in fulfilling our mission to deliver comprehensive, high-quality
healthcare and personalized services. In this role, you will be
responsible for managing patient care in a range of settings such
as short-term post-acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and
long-term care. This position offers a unique opportunity to
develop skills in a variety of clinical environments and to make a
positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. Assess
patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing
care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care
to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise
patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide
case management. Supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing
aides, and other nursing staff. Monitor, record, and report
symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and records. Interact with departments regarding
patient care and management. Ensure compliance with healthcare
laws, regulations, and policies. Strong clinical skills with the
ability to work in a high-paced environment. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively
manage time and prioritize tasks. Empathy and commitment to patient
care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current registered nurse license in the state of
practice. BLS/CPR certification. Additional certification in
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
