Job Description OBGYN Hospitalist opening - Norton, VALocated 45m to Kingsport'J1/H1 EligiblePosition Details - Full-time, permanent - Employed - Experience required - 300 deliveries/year - OB Hospitalist team is made up of talented-caring providers who work in unison between our facilities at a 129 bed Community Hospital, a 239 Bed Community Hospital in Kingsport, and a NICU Childrens Hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee. - OB Triage - Manage OB emergencies - Coverage on the post-partum floor - Provide Emergency Department consults - 15 Shifts per month - EPIC EMR system-wide - Well established practice serving more than 60,000 residents within Wise, Lee and the surrounding counties. - Delivers babies 35 weeks and above, high risk deliveries are sent to Johnson City Campus - Additional shift opportunities/emergency coverage at Community Hospital in Kingsport, Tennessee. - Babies requiring NICU services would be transported to Childrens Hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee Compensation/Benefits - As employed physicians, this opportunity includes guaranteed base and the opportunity to enhance compensation with an RVU-based productivity model - Incentives for extra shifts worked - Signing incentive - CME allowance - Performance bonus - Retirement plans - Full benefits Health/Dental/Vision Inpatient coverage for Labor & Delivery Facility Details - Community Hospital has completed an extensive expansion of its surgery department which has significantly enhanced its surgery services and has improved the quality and efficiency of care. - 129-bed facility, supports a wide range of health care services including surgery, OB/GYN, pulmonary and critical care, rehabilitation services and much more. - Hospital is recognized for its outstanding inpatient rehabilitation services, black lung clinic and high-quality imaging technology. - In 2016, Group completed the $13.1 million Health-Plex expansion, a new 39,000-square foot facility that includes a Fit-One Wellness Center, Pharmacy offering a drive-thru services, Occupational Medicine Health Center, Primary Care offices, Orthopedics, Community Home Care, outpatient rehab and cardiac/pulmonary rehab services. - The draw area serves a population of 75,000 to 100,000 which includes Southwestern Virginia and Southeastern Kentucky. - Local physician primary care network supplies patient referrals along with marketing support to attract new patients.
