Job Description Non-Invasive Cardiologist job opportunity in Kingsport, Tennessee Located 100 miles from Knoxville, TN Position Details: ~ Full-Time, Permanent~ Hospital employed~ Seeking BC/BE Non Invasive Cardiologist to join nationally recognized Cardiovascular program in Kingsport, Tennessee~ Focus is on excellence in care and collegiality~ Completely integrated multi-disciplinary cardiovascular service line~ Lifestyle friendly with a breadth of cardiovascular services and sophistication~ The group is comprised of 16 cardiologists that provides the highest quality, evidence based cardiovascular care throughout health system. The Kingsport group is active in advanced electrophysiology procedures, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart disease and advanced non-invasive imaging including CT, MRI, and Echo. The cardiology team is also supported by three cardiac surgeons and three vascular surgeons. Highlights: ~ Medical Center performs approximately 300-400 Cath lab and EP procedures per month with 50-75 stent placement, 40 implantable pacemaker/AICD and 40 ablations, 12-16 TAVRs and 75 peripheral cases per month~ Philips Cath Lab with Advanced Cardiac supportive and diagnostic devices such as: Laser, Volcano, IVUS, Rota Pro, Shockwave, CSI, Inari, EKOS, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and Impella~ 24/7 STEMI service with approximately 190 STEMIs /year~ On-Site CHF clinic~ Experienced Advanced Practitioners to Supplement Practice~ Continued Cardiac Market Growth~ Upcoming advanced CT with state-of-the-art cardiac imaging capabilities Bonus/Optional skills: ~ Cardiac and peripheral CT interpretation~ Vascular ultrasound interpretationThe medical group is located in Kingsport, Tennessee, and is comprised of five general surgeons and one traumatologist with the goal of recruiting two additional trauma surgeons.
