Occupational Therapist Location: Bryson City, NC Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,750 to $1,950 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Bryson City, NC. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting is required. Experience with ADL (activities of daily living) training and mobility/transfer training. Documentation experience using electronic medical records. Client requires clinicians who can manage caseloads that include patients with complex medical needs and dementia. Preferred: Experience with splinting, orthotic recommendations, and cognitive retraining techniques. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Discipline: Occupational Therapist.
