If so, we are currently seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the following position: Great Starts Outpatient Team Leader. SUMMARY The Great Starts Outpatient Team Leader provides outpatient clinical assessments; group, individual, and family therapy; treatment, transition, and discharge planning for clients. Provide services that are culturally competent, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. Coordinates care on behalf of families with DCS, Juvenile Court, and other partner agencies as needed. Complete paperwork timely and in compliance with contractual, legal, applicable licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance standards and oversight requirements. Consistently meet all productivity targets set by the program. Must have the ability to effectively and ethically counsel children and adults; Ability to present professionally and work within a team to format a plan; Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure, effective decision making, appropriate boundaries, empathic listening skills, flexibility, and accepting practices with diverse populations. Oversees, participates in, and supervises activities related to planning, hiring, and orienting new staff, coverage of scheduled services, and implementation of the program schedule and activities. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility as evidenced by managing within the program's controllable revenues and expenses per the program budget. Assists in developing and implementing policy, procedure, and operational guidelines of the program. Ensures program is running in compliance with agency and program policies and procedures. Ensures staff are trained in accordance to accrediting bodies and other agencies of oversight. Ensures that families are receiving the assistance, support, and services that meet their needs in a respectful and empowering way. Assists in ensuring that documentation of intervention and counseling services are provided according to agency policy and contractual agreement. Provides supervision to direct reports consistently. Ensures necessary repairs and maintenance are performed at the facilities. Ensures productivity, pre-authorizations, and concurrent reviews are submitted in a timely manner. Ensures the program meets QA/QI indicators and that QA/QI reporting functions are submitted in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned. This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. REQUIREMENTS Education/Knowledge: A master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required; Training in trauma informed care and interventions, co-occurring disorders, child psychopathology, cultural diversity, and child development preferred. Clinical licensure preferred. Experience: One year experience in supervisory or management role preferred. Applicants should possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation. Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients. Physical: Hearing of normal and soft tones as well as close eye work. Valid driver's license. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. To ensure the safety of the clients and staff, this position requires certification in and adequate implementation of verbal and physical de-escalation techniques (Handle with Care) that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, going down on knees, running, and walking. The Helen Ross McNabb Center (www.mcnabbcenter.org) is a premier not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services. The Center provides quality care and serves all ages in a continuum of prevention, early intervention, social, co-occurring, addiction, outpatient, and crisis services. HRMC is an EOE.
