This individual will manage the IT services for the internal BGS network, systems, and applications.Responsibilities:Manages all corporate IT activities for the organization.Plans, initiates, and leads IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.Implements and maintains the policies and goals for the IT department to support the companys needs.Ensures proper information system operations and plans necessary upgrades.Conducts research and recommends the selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies.Manages department budget including forecasting of annual needs.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage. systems, and phone systems.Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.5-10 years experience in IT Operations or related area.3-5 years management experience.Successful drug screen.Must be a US citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft Azure/O365 Commercial, GCC and GCC High environments.Advanced Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.Experience with NIST 800-171 and CMMC.Experience with IT infrastructure and operations best practices.Experience with Business Analysis and Software Design Life Cycle including CI/CD and Agile concepts.Boston Government Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
