DescriptionSAIC is seeking a MS SQL Server Database Administrator to support a recently awarded program supporting US Navy Recruiting Command Programs. This position is 100% remote.The DBA will support the Personalized Recruiting for Immediate and Delayed Enlistment Modernization II (PRIDE Mod II).This program is based out of Millington, TN but work may be performed remotely in the continental United States.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of routine MS SQL database operations and maintenance to include resolving system outages
• Work with SQL Server\database STIGs and mitigating vulnerabilities
• Design and implement SQL scripts used to manage/transform production data
• Implement database performance metrics measurements, track and analyze data
• Optimization of database performance and efficiency
• Assist with data modeling and database design
• Analyze data archival and backup requirements and implement data archival/restoration processes
• Keep documentation of database resources and configurations up to date
• Perform deployments and upgrades supporting application developerQualificationsPosition Requirements:
  • US Citizenship
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 5 (five) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • Database Management of MS SQL
  • Ability to develop / execute MS SQL scripts
  • VM infrastructure experienceDesired Experience:
    • Experience working in an Agile environment
    • Possess IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
      
      Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
