We are an independent software company and have an immediate full-time opening for a Windows Application / .Net Developer in Knoxville Tennessee. - THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Primary Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of Window's Forms UI and class libraries

- Development and maintenance of Postgres Database subsystem

- Participation as a member of a small team, frequently responsible for multiple projects simultaneously

- Recognizing system deficiencies and proactively proposing, discussing, and implementing effective solutions

- Plan and execute design and programming

- Coordinate and implement content changes

- Individually manage and complete short-term or long-term projects from start to finish
Requirements:
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, Windows application development and .Net

- Experience with SQL/Postgres and database design concepts

- Solid grasp of relational database concepts and best practices

- Exceptional written and oral communications skills

- The capability to quickly learn and assimilate new skills and technologies

- The ability to perform well under pressure and be resourceful in meeting our clients' deadlines

- Ability to multi-task

- General networking knowledge.

- Strong troubleshooting skills.

- independent and self-driven.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft VB.net
- Experience with C# and .NET 4 or higher
- Experience with SQL/Postgres Server
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC
- Experience with Flutter
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and other web technologies
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with PHP
- Experience with Git or Team Foundation Server
