requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days
per week. U.S. Bank is searching for a Systems Engineer who can
support and troubleshoot web?facing and internal server
infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on web server administration
and the digital certificates that secure those systems. This role
is focused on maintaining the reliability of web platforms and APIs
by owning server?side issues, resolving production outages, and
supporting certificate installations and renewals that impact
availability and security. The ideal candidate brings hands?on
experience in system administration with exposure to web
environments such as IIS and/or Apache and is comfortable working
directly with application and infrastructure teams. While the team
manages PKI and certificates, this is not a pure PKI or security
role—it is a systems?focused, operational position best suited for
someone who enjoys hands?on troubleshooting, steady system
ownership, and contributing to automation efforts that reduce
manual certificate lifecycle work. Key Responsibilities Administer,
support, and troubleshoot web server environments, primarily IIS,
with Apache/Linux exposure acceptable Own and resolve production
web application incidents, including server configuration and
certificate-related outages Perform hands-on Windows systems
administration, including: Server builds, configuration, and
maintenance OS patching and troubleshooting Core infrastructure
services (e.g., Active Directory–related support as needed) Support
the installation, renewal, and troubleshooting of digital
certificates used by web servers, APIs, and internal systems Act as
a technical escalation point for certificate owners and application
teams experiencing web or TLS-related issues Contribute to
automation initiatives that reduce manual certificate lifecycle
work (e.g., PowerShell scripting, APIs) Document troubleshooting
steps, operational procedures, and best practices Collaborate with
infrastructure, application, and business teams to ensure secure
and reliable web services Preferred Skills & Experience Hands-on
web administration experience: IIS strongly preferred Apache or
Linux-based web environments acceptable Windows Server system
administration experience Experience troubleshooting web
application or server-side issues in production environments
Familiarity with TLS/SSL and digital certificates, including
installation or renewal on servers Exposure to PKI concepts (formal
PKI experience is a plus but not required) Scripting or automation
experience, particularly PowerShell Prior IT-focused help desk or
escalation experience, especially infrastructure- or OS-related
support Comfort working directly with both technical teams and
non-technical stakeholders Strong troubleshooting mindset with the

$81,600.00 - $96,000.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified
