Job Description:
American Appliance Products LLC in Newport, is looking for a 3rd
shift Maintenance Machinist (11:00pm to 7:30am). JOB HIGHLIGHTS
Manufacture parts per blueprints, sketches, and/or samples. Perform
preventative maintenance on dies and fixtures. Ability to read
measuring equipment (i.e. caliper, micrometers, etc). Repair or
modify production tooling in order to make in specification parts.
Operate cutting, grinding, metal forming equipment. Maintain
production or processing equipment. Design tools, fixtures, or
other devices for production equipment. Assemble machine tools,
parts, or fixtures. Operate welding equipment. Disassemble
equipment for maintenance or repair. Replace worn equipment
components. Install mechanical components in production equipment.
Assemble electromechanical systems. Assist Maintenance Mechanics,
Maintenance Technicians, and Manager as needed. SELECTION CRITERIA
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Machinist Certification
or equal on the job experience required. Three (3+) years of
Machinist experience a plus! Must be able to provide your own
working tools.
