Job Description:

Industry leader with 30 years in the Home Medical Equipment industry is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, client-oriented salesperson with a hunter mentality and burning desire to succeed. This is a tremendous opportunity for career growth and advancement for the right person.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Medical Sales Consultant will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales revenue by developing new accounts, growing, and managing existing customers and promoting Medical Modalities wound care portfolio of specialty Home Medical Equipment within a designated territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consistently exceed sales quota for territory
  • Establish new Medical Modalities accounts by prospecting and cold calling
  • Increase sales in current accounts by selling deep (within specialties) and broad (with new specialties)
  • Become technically and clinically proficient in all Medical Modalities products
  • Contact and qualify potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices
  • Arrange appointments with doctors and hospital medical teams
  • Build relationships with medical staff, physicians, clinicians, and mid-level practitioners
  • Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support
  • Improve product knowledge and sales techniques
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit referrals
  • Research competitors and understand competitive products, features, and strengths in relation to Medical Modalities products
  • Gather, analyze, and deliver information from the field to allow the Company to develop strategies and products
  • Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance
  • Facilitate hospital and SNF discharges and delivery/pickup of specialty wound care products

Bachelor's Degree required

Preferred 2-5 years medical sales experience (no pharma)

Understanding of insurance reimbursement and DME a plus

Current relationships with wound care professionals and accounts is preferred
