Shift and Schedule: This role will be working 8a-5p Monday-Friday. Benefits are available to new hires DAY 1!Manufacturing Planning SupervisorAs the Planning Supervisor you are responsible for managing the site manufacturing Purchasing and Scheduling Groups. This position is responsible for interfacing with multi-site planning and purchasing to ensure SIOP plans are translated into facility schedules, that the materials used in the schedules are purchased at competitive price and are available to meet department's established weekly committed outputs. You will manage the scheduling and coordination of product and packaging trials. Effectively communicates with process improvement team and department managers.
What you will do:

  • Supervise and develops 4-10 individuals with varying responsibilities within the purchasing and scheduling arena.
  • Help manage corrective actions in regard to supplier quality defects.
  • Assint Planning & Materials Manager to drive improvements to positively impact the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Manage Dashboards, and Scorecards relative to cost, productivity and on-time delivery.
  • Provides daily dispositions and resolutions to production schedule and output issues.
  • Develops tools to acquire, trend and analyze efficient production output.
  • Monitor and adjust weekly manufacturing schedules with staff to ensure team meets sales demand.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast requirements working with Production Managers to ensure accurate staffing, and materials exist to meet SIOP demand.
  • Efficiently schedules and communicates product and packaging trials.
  • Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance to plant or division personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Follows all policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by KDP and the department.
  • Work with multi-site scheduling /planning and inventory control department to ensure consistency in processes.

  • Performs other duties as requested by management.Requirements:What you must have:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred plus 3-5 years experience in a lead/supervisory level position
    • ERP/MRP experience required.
    • Understanding of inventory control, purchasing, and scheduling methods in a manufacturing environment.
    • Great communication skills - verbal, written, and electronic.
    • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
    • Computer literacy, preferably with spreadsheets, ERP systems, and SAP.
